Ten years ago, Claire Wilson (Cornish) hid behind the bushes as she watched a young man stab her sister Carrie (cameo by Jennifer Lawrence) to death. Now 25, she is diagnosed with schizophrenia, a secret that only best friend and colleague Detective Tara Fields (Page) knows about. Officer Wilson by day and call girl Evie by night, she alternates between these two very different personas. With the help of Tara and fiancee Josh Fowler (Franco), Claire is on the trail of her sister’s killer. Meanwhile, her split persona, Evie, unexpectedly falls in love with Robert (Gordon-Levitt) on a job, not knowing that he was the man who killed Carrie ten years ago. Trouble is, neither persona can recall the actions - or memories - of the other. So when Claire’s two lives slowly begin to intertwine, the consequences are dire.
I am so annoyed by the Twilight and Hunger Games comparison. Seriously? I know it's being used to gain hype and the attention of people who have not read the books but just . . . no. Why can't Hunger Games be its own entity? Its own movie? Its own piece of art? It's not the new Twilight. It's the Hunger Games. It is amazing on its own.
